Founded in 2016 by Tonica Y. Pitman. TYP/FFE was first founded as an in-house hobby of making tote bags and doing alterations per request. Soon later became something bigger and exciting by making clothing for individuals. TYP/FFE is a self-taught brand that exceeds its own expectations. After making the very first prom dress, word of mouth of service began to spread. TYP/FFE gives individuals who wish to order handmade clothing the opportunity and experience in choosing their own fabric, buttons and appliques. The goal of this brand is to give all individuals; women, men and kids the experience to create the perfect garment.

TYP/FFE also offers clothing that is outsourced by other handmade companies. But for the most part, the clothing that is viewed on the website is handmade with love and patience. I offer up-cycle fedoras that are uniquely personalized and I also have accessories that include handbags and jewelry. For made-to-order and alteration requests, please email me and I will respond as quickly as possible. TYP/FFE is growing to become a one stop shop for customers.
